Ajman : Ajman’s Route 44 Car Show, which was organised by Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) and held at Al Zorah, concluded recently. More than 550 cars and around 300 motorcycles of various types and models participated in the Show. A coffee-making contest was also organised during the Show in cooperation with Maher Tarish Al-Alili, head of the event organising committee.
The Car Show attracted 1,500 visitors from around and outside the UAE, most of whom were families. The winners of different categories in the competition and participants were honoured in front of a huge audience.
The visitors who flocked to Al Zorah were impressed by the variety of activities and exciting entertainment, including a remote-controlled car show in which exhibitors participated and a competition for the best coffee, which was held in three stages with three contestants in each stage.
Saud Al Jasmi, Director of the Events Section at ATDD, said, “The Show is a valuable addition to ATDD’s list of annual activities. It has been a great success each year as reflected by the turnout. This year, there were around 1,500 visitors, predominantly families from around the UAE.”
He congratulated the winners of the competition and thanked the sponsors and organisers for playing a key role in the event’s success, which boosted the flow of tourists to Ajman.
ATDD seeks to promote diverse programmes and activities to appeal to different tastes and groups in order to increase the flow of tourists to the Emirate and achieve the goal of Ajman Vision 2021.
