Press Release updated: Jul 30, 2020 13:00 EDT

Blind Ambitions, an Installed Building Products Family of Companies window treatment provider, has been named a National Preferred Partner from David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately-held home builders. This award recognizes Blind Ambitions as a world-class manufacturing partner by David Weekley Homes team members.

Of the 142 companies considered this year, only 23 achieved the designation of National Preferred Partner. The National Preferred Trading Partner Survey format was updated in 2020 to a system of two questions with a 1-to-5 rating system for partners and was sent to David Weekley Homes team members who are currently doing business with them in their market. The evaluation process involves a comprehensive system of feedback and discussion that enables David Weekley Homes to measure world-class excellence among all established trade partners and their channel partners. Providers that receive the highest scores throughout the year are presented with the prestigious National Preferred Partners Award.

“We are honored to be named as a preferred partner by David Weekley Homes, a name that has become synonymous with world-class customer service,” said Eric Andrews, President of Blind Ambitions. “To deliver a superior customer service experience and product, it truly takes a team of dedicated and skilled professionals. To that end, we are proud to work with the David Weekly Homes team and to have their trust and respect as professionals in the home-building industry.”

As one of the nation’s largest private homebuilders, David Weekley Homes implemented its supplier evaluation platform in 2004. Through a series of evaluations, one-on-one discussions and formalized feedback, the process allows David Weekley Homes to analyze its partners’ performance across all industries. Over 1,000 team members from all levels within the company participate in the comprehensive review, providing an opportunity for its partners to review and improve channel alignment and performance.

“Blind Ambitions has again surpassed their peers by consistently demonstrating a dedication to delivering world-class quality and service to David Weekley Homes, earning our recognition as a National Preferred Partner,” said John Schiegg, Vice President of Supply Chain Services at David Weekly Homes. “By working together with them, we’re creating the best home building experience possible for our customers.”
