King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia Inaugurate Puig’s New Barcelona Tower – Global Cosmetics News

THE WHAT?  Puig has expanded its Barcelona headquarters with the inauguration of Puig Tower-T2, attended by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain.

THE DETAILS  The new tower, designed by GCA Architects, features a modern design with glass surfaces and stacked cubes, providing office space for nearly 500 employees, R&D labs for fragrances, makeup, and skincare, and innovative facilities like the Innovation Center and FabLab. The building is located in Plaza Europa, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and emphasizes sustainability with an “A” energy efficiency rating and LEED Gold certification.

THE WHY? The expansion includes state-of-the-art workspaces to support Puig’s hybrid working model and employee well-being, and it showcases Joan Miró’s sculpture ‘Monument à la femme’ in the lobby, reflecting Puig’s connection to art and culture.
