Apple announced upgrades to its Safari browser during the WWDC 2024 event. Another upgrade is the new version of Reader, designed to reduce distractions while browsing. It will provide AI-generated summaries and even a table of contents for longer articles. Additionally, a feature called Viewer will prioritize videos on web pages and offer users the option to use macOS’ universal playback controls.
