Healthcare Startup Secures .25M in Initial Funding

Rivia Health, a healthcare digital payment company based in Phoenix, Arizona, has successfully secured .25 million in Seed funding. The investment round was led by PHX Ventures, with additional participation from In Revenue Capital.

With this funding, Rivia Health plans to enhance its platform and expand into new markets across the United States. The company, under the leadership of CEO and co-founder Rachel Mertensmeyer, offers a patient payment experience platform that encourages patients to settle their balances through personalized text and email reminders. This streamlined process allows for secure payments without the need for a portal account, password, app download, or statement ID code.

Patients can conveniently access this payment experience through desktop, mobile devices, or phone calls, with a variety of flexible payment options available, including payment plans, ApplePay, and GooglePay.

Overall, the investment will enable Rivia Health to further develop its platform and reach a wider audience, ultimately improving the healthcare payment experience for patients nationwide.
