The investment round saw participation from well-known names like Coinbase Ventures, Kraken Ventures, Lemniscap, Franklin Templeton, Fidelity, Mechanism, Lightspeed Faction, Consensys, Animoca, and GSR. The round was co-led by Brevan Howard Digital and Electric Capital.
Notable individuals, including Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, Wormhole co-founder Anthony Ramirez, AltLayer co-founder Yaoqi Jia, and Pendle Finance’s main participant Anton Buenavista, also joined the investment tour.
The funds raised will be utilized for the launch of the Puffer mainnet, with CEO Amir Amir Forouzani expressing excitement about the project’s potential. “With our upcoming mainnet launch, we aim to significantly lower the barriers to participation for validators while delivering the most advanced liquid repurchase protocol. This is a major step forward for Ethereum’s decentralization and the broader repurchase ecosystem,” stated Forouzani.
