New Option for Carriers and Drivers to Pay for Weighs at 2,200+ CAT Scale Locations

Relay Payments, a fintech company dedicated to revolutionizing payments for the trucking and logistics industries, has unveiled a new integration that allows carriers and drivers to use Relay for a wider range of over-the-road expenses. This integration enables fleets to utilize their Relay accounts within the Weigh My Truck app from CAT Scale, the largest truck scale network globally.

Emily Neuman, Relay’s EVP of Operations, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing a fully digital payment solution for the trucking sector. By integrating with popular payment options for scales, drivers can now conveniently use Relay to cover all over-the-road expenses while effectively managing their cash flow. The platform already boasts thousands of customers using Relay for fuel, unloading, broker, and scale payments.

With this robust integration, drivers can leverage Relay to pay for scales at over 2,200 locations nationwide, offering extensive coverage. Carriers can benefit from consolidating various over-the-road transactions, including fuel, lumper, scales, cash, and more, to streamline reporting and simplify back-office management.

Heather DeBaillie, VP of Operations and Marketing for CAT Scale, expressed satisfaction with the integration, highlighting the time-saving benefits it offers to Relay Payments customers using their account for Weigh My Truck transactions.

Since its inception in 2019, Relay’s digital payment solution has been rapidly adopted by fleets, replacing outdated payment methods and driving efficiency gains in hours of service and supply chain operations. The payment network continues to expand, enabling fleets to make secure and swift payments for fuel, unloading, scales, and other over-the-road expenses nationwide. Currently trusted by over 350,000 drivers, 90,000 carriers, and 1,500+ truck stops, Relay continues to innovate and enhance payment capabilities within the industry.
