EY Named Strongest Brand in the UK, Greggs Ranks Second

According to new data by independent brand valuation and strategy consultancy Brand Finance, EY has been named the strongest brand this year after Dettol fell from the top 10 rankings. Greggs, known for its popular baked goods, ranked as the second strongest brand in the UK.

In the UK 250 2024 ranking, five out of the top 10 strongest brands have a brand value of less than GBP 900m. Brand Finance highlighted that several highly focused brands have shown their strength, with Greggs increasing its brand value by 6% to GBP 899m and earning a AAA rating.

Greggs’ brand strength is attributed to high scores in key areas such as value for money, consideration, and familiarity. The company has built a solid brand identity, fostering loyalty among consumers through consistent presence and quality products.

Other brands that made it to the top 10 rankings include Costa, Fairy, and KitKat, all of which have a AAA- rating. Brand Finance noted that these brands showcase the power of specialized UK products.

Leading the top 10 strongest brands in the UK is the global accounting and consultancy firm EY, reinforcing its position as a trusted and respected brand.
