PRWire: The 2024 Google for Startups Accelerator Africa Program is now accepting applications! This initiative is dedicated to aiding growth-stage startups in Africa that utilize advanced technologies, such as AI/ML or data analytics, to address pressing challenges across various sectors.

Program Overview:
The Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa offers a unique 10-week, equity-free program designed specifically for Seed to Series A startups either based in Africa or focused on developing solutions for African markets. Participants will benefit from comprehensive support, including hands-on mentorship from Google and industry experts aimed at overcoming key startup challenges.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Startups from Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Côte D’ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe are invited to apply.
  • Ideal candidates are between the Seed and Series A stages, demonstrating clear traction and growth potential.
  • Startups should be building scalable products or services targeting significant market opportunities and utilizing deep technologies, preferably in Machine Learning and AI.
  • A commitment from the CTO and/or technical team members to actively participate in all scheduled program sessions is required.
