LAUNCH OF NEW SKINCARE BRAND AIMS TO SET A STANDARD FOR REDUCING WASTE IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY – PRWire

The California-based team of seasoned beauty industry experts provides an eco-friendly, minimal waste clay mask.

Los Angeles, CA. November 13, 2023 – Glorio Skin is announcing the launch of the aforementioned brand and a collection of Brazilian Clay Masks, aimed to lead by example how waste can be reduced in the beauty industry.

Located in Redondo Beach, CA, the brand’s foundation of “no waste” is a full process commitment. It starts with the formula using ethically sourced Brazilian Clay where vegetation is replanted after the extraction process. Next, the packaging is made from 100% recycled paper with a reusable silicone applicator. Finally, the production is made in the USA, reducing large carbon footprints from international transport. This results in using 93% less plastic than similar products; 1% product waste and biodegradable packaging that will degrade in 5-6 weeks, being significantly healthier for our environment.

The commitment to clean is continued with single dose applications, which has multiple benefits.

·Sustainability. Our individually sealed treatment packaging is made with 100% recyclable paper materials to minimize our carbon footprint.

·Potency, Freshness & Hygiene. Each individual treatment is sealed airtight until you’re ready to use. This keeps the product from being exposed to sun, bacteria, and air to protect the product’s potency.  Protecting the product from external exposure eliminates oxidation or drying, and maintains maximum efficacy.

·Metered Dosage. Most consumers tend to lose value in their treatment products by overuse per application.  It’s impossible to measure the exact dosage each time to get the most out of your product. Our individually sealed treatments are premeasured to give the highest level of efficacy without waste. You know exactly how many uses you’ll have with each treatment box.

The launch assortment includes five product offerings, each with a unique Brazilian Clay base and effective skincare benefits. These are Glow, using yellow clay with Vitamin C & Pumice for brightening & light exfoliation; Calm, using purple clay with aloe and oils to moisturize skin; Renew, using red clay with retinol & collagen for anti-aging benefits & Detox, using green clay with Glycolic & Salicylic Acid to unclog pores. The full sizes offer 8 single-use applications with a suggested retail price of $39.99. There is also a Discovery Kit, with a suggested retail price of $14.99, which includes a single use of each full size offer.

By focusing on providing a quality product that has as low impact to the environment as possible, we can make decisions based on what is both best for the consumer for now, and the long term. We believe the beauty industry can be much less wasteful, and we aim to lead by example by offering a product that is both high quality and as little waste as possible.

While the sustainable beauty movement has grown exponentially over the past few years, there are numerous barriers to overcome in the manufacturing process and as brands’ choose to cut costs by using harmful materials versus biodegradable, but more expensive, options. By offering biodegradable packaging, we aim to set a new standard and overcome these barriers.
