‘Subway Teams Up with PepsiCo in the United States’

Subway, one of the largest restaurant brands in the world, has recently announced a 10-year partnership with PepsiCo to supply beverages in its US outlets starting January 1, 2025. This partnership will see Subway locations in the US providing PepsiCo beverages for the next decade. The agreement will also extend Subway’s long-standing partnership with Frito-Lay until 2030, consolidating the brand’s snack and beverage portfolio under one supplier and increasing system efficiency.

As part of the new partnership, Subway restaurants will offer a wide selection of beverages from PepsiCo’s diverse portfolio, including popular brands such as Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, MTN DEW, Tropicana, Lipton, Aquafina, and Gatorade. This collaboration aims to provide Subway customers with a range of beverage options that cater to their preferences across all demographics.

Doug Fry, President of Subway North America, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that it will bring a delicious suite of beverage and snack choices to Subway guests, driving additional consideration of these menu items. The partnership will also provide cost-effective solutions to Subway franchisees by covering all new beverage equipment delivered to restaurants.

Moving forward, consumers can expect to see Subway and PepsiCo collaborating on new marketing and media campaigns as part of their ongoing brand partnership. Anne Fink, President of PepsiCo Global Foodservice, highlighted that the agreement with Subway represents a commitment to delivering operational excellence and driving innovation for consumers across the US.

The transition to offering PepsiCo products in all US Subway restaurants will begin in 2025 and will be phased in over several months. Currently, PepsiCo serves Subway beverages in several countries, including Canada, Germany, the Nordics, and the Netherlands.

Subway, known for its freshly made sandwiches, wraps, salads, and bowls, operates in over 100 countries and territories, with approximately 37,000 stores serving millions of visitors every day. These restaurants are owned and operated by Subway franchisees, a network of entrepreneurs dedicated to providing the best guest experience in their communities. This partnership with PepsiCo reflects Subway’s commitment to offering a better cuisine and guest experience to its customers.
