‘Coming Soon: The innovative Rabbit r1 AI gadget will be shipping out next week’

Rabbit, a groundbreaking startup, made waves with its recent AI hardware announcement in early January. The Rabbit r1 is a device that resembles a smartphone but offers a unique AI experience unlike ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, and other chatbots.

The Rabbit r1 excels at handling chats like ChatGPT, but its standout feature is the Large Action Model (LAM) which allows it to interact with apps on your behalf. This means you can instruct the r1 to book an Uber, plan a trip, or make purchases for you. Instead of just generating text or images, the r1 can actually learn to navigate through various apps and services.

This level of AI functionality is something we may expect in future products like iPhones and Android devices, but, for now, the Rabbit r1 offers a unique advantage. It is set to be released on April 24th for 9, with pre-orders shipping out starting on Sunday, March 31st.

During the initial pre-order phase in January, Rabbit quickly sold out of the initial inventory of 10,000 units allocated for March shipping to US buyers. The company saw overwhelming demand, with over 100,000 r1 units sold to date. Pre-orders are still available on Rabbit’s website, but delivery for new orders is expected to be later than the mid-April timeframe for the first batch.

For those looking to experience a new level of AI interaction, the Rabbit r1 offers an exciting opportunity to streamline tasks and enhance productivity.
