Apple Becomes Most Valuable Brand as It Achieves New Milestone

The global Top 100 brands saw a significant rebound in brand value, reaching a total of .3 trillion in 2024. U.S. tech brands continue to dominate the upper tier of the annual ranking, with Apple retaining the top spot for the third consecutive year in Kantar BrandZ’s “Most Valuable Global Brands Report 2023.” Apple also achieved a historic milestone by becoming the world’s first trillion-dollar brand.

Alongside Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon also secured top positions with brand values of 3.4 billion, 2.8 billion, and 6.8 billion, respectively. McDonald’s ranked fifth with a brand value of 1.9 billion, followed by Nvidia, Visa, Facebook, Oracle, and Tencent in the top 10.

The 2024 BrandZ ranking highlights the resilience of top brands as the total brand value of the Global Top 100 increased by 20% compared to the previous year, nearing the peak of .7 trillion in 2022. Since its inception in 2006, the brand value of the Global Top 100 has grown by an impressive 474%, with the threshold to make the top 100 list increasing by 354% from billion to billion.
