‘Final Ant & Dec episode attracts 5.3m peak viewers’

The final episode of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV1 drew in a peak of 5.3 million viewers on April 13th, marking the end of the current series with a two-hour special. This strong viewership helped ITV1 secure the highest share of viewing across all channels for the day.

Overall, the final episode averaged 4.6 million viewers, holding a 34 per cent share of viewing. This was an improvement from the previous year’s final, which averaged 4.3 million viewers and a 33 per cent share.

The show also proved to be a hit with the younger demographic, achieving a 50 per cent share and attracting 563k viewers in the 16-34 age group. Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway comfortably dominated its time slot and emerged as the highest rated show of the day across all channels.
