‘Flydubai adds two new routes to Saudi Arabia in GCC expansion’

Flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, has unveiled its plans to launch services to two destinations in Saudi Arabia. The airline will resume flights to Al Jouf and commence operations to Red Sea International.

Starting from 18 April, flights to Al Jouf Airport (AJF) and Red Sea International Airport (RSI) will run twice a week from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB).

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, expressed his excitement about the expansion of their GCC network with the addition of flights to Al Jouf and Red Sea International. He emphasized flydubai’s commitment to supporting economic and tourism growth in the region through direct flights.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for UAE, GCC, Subcontinent, and Africa at flydubai, highlighted that flydubai will be the first airline to operate to Red Sea International from the UAE, providing passengers with direct access to Saudi Arabia’s resorts in The Red Sea destination.

Michael White, Chief Commercial Officer of Red Sea International Airport, welcomed the news of flydubai’s announcement and the opportunity to cater to international travelers. He expressed the airport’s dedication to offering exceptional services to passengers and airlines, with plans to expand their network to serve The Red Sea and visitors from around the globe.
