Annuity.com, a fintech and financial media company based in NYC, has secured .7 million in Seed funding for its expansion and development initiatives.
The backers behind the funding were not disclosed, but the company plans to use the capital to grow its operations and focus on enhancing the annuity distribution landscape. Led by CEO Brett Blake, Annuity.com aims to empower independent agents, increase consumer awareness, and provide easier access to annuities for individuals looking for financial security in retirement.
Operating under the name Annuity.com, Inc., the company will also be known as Annuity.com Insurance Marketing in select states. In the summer of 2024, the company will relaunch Annuity.com as an education-focused consumer marketplace for annuities.
Blake, known for his successful tenure at Beachbody (now BODi), where he significantly increased sales in the independent coaching division, is leading the charge at Annuity.com. The company has also welcomed Bruce Jensen, a seasoned financial executive, as its COO/CFO.
