Giuliana Rancic Feels ‘Fantastic’ Without Cancer

Giuliana Rancic, the talk show host, recently celebrated two important milestones last December – the anniversary of her engagement to husband Bill and her 12th year being cancer-free. In 2011, at the age of 36, Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double-mastectomy two months later.

Reflecting on her health scare, the 49-year-old shared, “It was tough. I didn’t realize how strong I was until I had to be. I had to pull through.” Giuliana, who recently partnered with Avocados From Mexico to support breast cancer research, opened up to Closer about resiliency, her marriage with Bill, and her experience as a cancer survivor.

On being a cancer survivor, Giuliana expressed her gratitude for being 12 years out of the diagnosis and mentioned how it has gotten easier over the years. She emphasized the importance of staying proactive about health and doing regular self-exams, especially for young women.

Giuliana recalled her lowest moment during her battle with breast cancer and acknowledged that it made her realize her inner strength. She also talked about the lifestyle changes she made post-recovery, focusing on better skincare routines and incorporating superfoods like avocados into her diet.

Talking about her 16-year marriage with Bill, Giuliana described them as best friends who share common interests, businesses, and a strong connection. She credited their friendship and mutual understanding for the success of their relationship. Their son, Duke, is doing great, enjoying activities like golf, pickleball, and learning the guitar, bringing joy to their lives.

Overall, Giuliana Rancic remains grateful for her journey as a cancer survivor, cherishing her family, health, and happiness in life.
