NBK Broadens Collaboration with iGTB for Extensive eMACH.ai Digital Transformation

Intellect Global Transaction Banking (iGTB), a specialized division of Intellect Design Arena Limited, has secured an extended partnership with National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), one of the top 10 banks in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), to lead a comprehensive digital transformation initiative. The aim is to modernize existing channels and introduce new digital capabilities in transaction banking.

Through iGTB Digital Transaction Banking, NBK is revamping its online corporate banking platform to offer more streamlined, secure, and user-friendly digital solutions. This move is intended to attract and retain corporate customers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The focus on next-generation digital banking will allow NBK to provide its customers with an enhanced omnichannel and mobile banking experience across various industries such as oil and gas, construction, power and water, and transport.

This transformation marks a significant step forward for NBK in terms of scalability and transaction volumes. It serves as a key driver in accelerating the bank’s growth ambitions in Kuwait and the Middle East.

Manish Maakan, CEO of iGTB, emphasized the enduring partnership with NBK, spanning over a decade, and highlighted iGTB’s prominent position in the digital transaction banking landscape in Kuwait. He stated that the collaboration aligns with NBK’s growth strategy, focusing on integrating cutting-edge technology and digital enhancements for the benefit of corporate and SME customers.

The partnership is crucial for NBK’s vision to establish itself as a “digital-first bank with trendsetting innovation” in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Currently, more than 60% of the world’s top corporate banks leverage iGTB’s solutions, including 9 of the top 10 Middle East banks.
