‘New Exhibit at Natural Sciences Museum in North Carolina Makes History’

The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh is unveiling its latest exhibit, “Dueling Dinosaurs,” on April 27. This 4,000-square-foot experience showcases a pair of Cretaceous-era dinosaurs that were found preserved together in Montana’s Hell Creek Formation back in 2006. The centerpiece of the exhibit is the unique fossil of two dinosaurs, including an intact triceratops and the only 100-percent-complete skeleton of a T. rex ever discovered in a single piece of rock.

Dr. Lindsay Zanno, the head of paleontology at the museum, describes the Dueling Dinosaurs fossil as a scientific breakthrough that will revolutionize our understanding of these iconic creatures. Visitors to the exhibit can also explore the DinoLab, where they can engage with paleontologists working on the fossils, participate in hands-on paleontology activities, and immerse themselves in a Cretaceous environment.

This groundbreaking exhibit is set to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for dinosaur enthusiasts and science lovers alike. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the incredible discovery that has been 67 million years in the making.
