New leader named at MSC Cruises USA

MSC Cruises announces that Rubén Rodríguez, President of MSC Cruises USA, will be retiring, aligning with his long-term personal plans. In a statement, MSC Cruises shared that Lynn Torrent, EVP and chief commercial officer, will work closely with Rodríguez during this extended transition period.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, expressed gratitude to Rodríguez for his role in ensuring a smooth transition before retirement and acknowledged his significant contributions to the growth of MSC Cruises in North America. Onorato also congratulated Torrent on her promotion, highlighting her impactful leadership in sales, marketing, revenue management, and contact center functions since joining MSC Cruises in May 2022.

The announcement marks a significant change in leadership within MSC Cruises USA, with Torrent set to take on an expanded role in the company. As Rodríguez prepares to retire, Torrent’s promotion reflects the company’s commitment to continued growth and excellence in the cruise industry.
