New Parachute Designed for DJI M3DT Dock

Aerial Vehicle Safety Solutions Inc. (AVSS) has recently introduced the PRS-M3DT, a Parachute Recovery System designed for the DJI Dock 2. This new system is compatible with both the DJI M3DT and DJI M3D drones, offering enhanced safety features for users flying over people.

AVSS is excited to be part of DJI’s product launch and is now accepting pre-orders for the PRS-M3DT. Authorized resellers can expect deliveries to commence in June 2024. The PRS-M3DT boasts a simple plug-and-play design, including a Parachute Recovery System, Flight Termination System, Automatic Triggering System, Manual Triggering Device, as well as EASA 2512 and ASTM F3322 documentation.

In the coming months, AVSS plans to offer an EASA 2511 compliant version of the PRS-M3DT, meeting the Enhanced Containment requirements set by EASA. This enhanced version will feature a segregated Flight Termination System to prevent fly-aways, ensuring compliance with regulations for drones operating near densely populated areas or airports.

Vice President of Operations, Mariah Murray, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the launch of the PRS-M3DT, positioning AVSS as the preferred Parachute Recovery System option for DJI products. The announcement of the PRS-M3DT coincides with DJI’s release of the DJI M3DT and Dock 2, offering relief to Authorized Dealers and end users seeking a reliable Drone-in-a-Box solution.
