Ambertail Games has announced the release of their debut title, Amber Isle, a shop management simulation game set in a friendly village available on Steam and Nintendo Switch. Teaming up with Team17 Digital and supported by Northern Ireland Screen, this game invites players to become the shopkeeper on Amber Isle, where they can craft, sell items, befriend residents, and embark on exciting adventures.
In Amber Isle, players will encounter a variety of prehistoric animals, or Paleofolk, each with their unique needs and behaviors. As the only merchant on the island, it is up to players to fulfill these needs and make their shop a success. By negotiating prices and offering the right products, players can save Amber Isle from decline and attract more Paleofolk to the village.
The game features customizable shop elements, a village to rebuild and explore, and 48 different Paleofolk to interact with, ranging from Ice Age mammals to marine life. Players can also design their own Paleofolk character, expressing their creativity and style.
