‘Swan Enhances International Payment Services for European Clients with Wise Integration’

Wise Platform, the infrastructure solution provided by Wise for banks, financial institutions, and enterprises globally, has teamed up with Swan, a leading embedded finance company in Europe. This new partnership aims to empower Swan’s clients to conduct international transactions from more than 190 countries in a fast, transparent, and cost-effective manner.

With access to over 20 currencies at the mid-market rate, Swan’s 100+ clients can now offer international payment services to their customers within seconds. The majority of transfers made through Wise settle instantly, making the process efficient and convenient for all parties involved.

By integrating Wise Platform into Swan’s technology stack, clients can streamline the implementation of international payment services, reducing both time and costs. This integration allows companies to focus on their core business activities while providing a seamless user experience for their customers.

Swan specializes in enabling European companies to incorporate banking services such as accounts, cards, and payments into their own products. One notable customer, Pennylane, a unicorn-status accounting tool, highlights the importance of the new international payments upgrade in their expansion strategy targeting the mid-market segment.

Tancrède Besnard, VP Product of Pennylane, expressed how the quick payment capabilities have positively impacted their customers’ experience, especially when dealing with international suppliers. Steve Naudé, Managing Director of Wise Platform, emphasized the shared commitment of both companies in simplifying processes for customers and enabling efficient cross-border transactions.

Nicolas Benady, CEO of Swan, highlighted the growing demand for in-app payments in various currencies and the strategic advantages of partnering with Wise. By offering low-cost and rapid transfers with full transparency on fees, Swan’s collaboration with Wise presents significant growth opportunities for companies in the financial management and niche banking software sectors.

Currently, Wise Platform is widely utilized by European neobanks like N26, bunq, and Activo to implement seamless cross-border payment services. This partnership between Wise Platform and Swan paves the way for enhanced international payment capabilities and improved user experiences for European businesses.
