Ruey Chang, a Taiwanese converter, has made history by being the first in the region to install a flexo Electron Beam printing press manufactured by Comexi in collaboration with Energy Sciences Inc (ESI), a developer of Electron Beam (EB) energy curing systems.

The machine is a Comexi F4 flexo printing press designed to utilize ESI’s GelFlex EB technology. This technology offers a variety of advantages, including high-quality printing, decreased VOC emissions, reduced energy consumption, and enhanced mechanical resistances, when compared to traditional solvent printing inks.

The installation of this state-of-the-art printing press is set to be completed by 2025, providing Chang with a competitive edge in the industry.
