‘Three French tech startups recognized as top innovative companies by government’

French video game developers Homa, Madbox, and TapNation have all been recognized as top tech startups by the French government. These companies are part of the French Tech Next40/120 program, which aims to support and promote the country’s top 120 startups to help them achieve global leadership.

Launched in 2019, this program provides a range of support to the selected startups, including a dedicated manager, increased visibility, regulatory assistance, and access to events. The startups also receive tailored support from the French Tech Correspondents network.

Homa Games has experienced significant success in the past year, surpassing 1.5 billion installs of its games and earning a spot on the Top 50 Game Makers list for 2023. Meanwhile, TapNation recently acquired AI-powered user acquisition and monetization platform UAhero, further enhancing its capabilities and offerings.

The latest promotion of French Tech Next40/120 is expected to see substantial revenue growth, with total net turnover projected to reach €10 billion in 2023, a significant increase from €7.5 billion in 2022. Additionally, the number of companies exceeding €100 million in net turnover has increased to 31, up from 19 in the previous year.
