‘0M Investment in Pharmaceutical Plant Facility in NM’

Bright Green Corporation has inked a deal with Dalsem Greenhouse Technologies BV for a 0 million project to expand its current research, production, and extraction processing facility in rural Grants, New Mexico. The company is a licensed manufacturer of plant-based drugs and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in the U.S.

The planned expansion will increase manufacturing and production capabilities by 7 million square feet. Under the agreement with Dalsem, the additional facility will be constructed to specific specifications and in a modular fashion. Additionally, the facility will be powered by a 100-plus-megawatt solar field that Bright Green intends to construct.

This expansion comes on the heels of Bright Green securing regulatory approvals for the production of Schedule I and II controlled substances from the DEA and the State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy. The increased capacity will support the processing of API and the production of generic prescription drugs.
