This collaboration will now include the implementation of Caper Carts, Instacart’s AI-powered smart carts, at over 2,300 member retailer locations in addition to the 800 locations already utilizing Instacart’s services.
With the integration of Instacart’s technology suite, customers will have access to same-day delivery services as well as in-store technology solutions like Caper Carts. These smart carts utilize computer vision and AI to automatically identify items as they are placed in the cart, making the shopping experience more efficient. Customers will also have the option to link their loyalty accounts to the carts for added convenience.
