Invafresh Welcomes Andrew Cron, Ph.D., as Chief Data Officer

Cron brings a wealth of experience as an executive-level data scientist and technology expert, known for his ability to drive transformative business results by applying cutting-edge technology to real-world challenges. Prior to joining Invafresh, Cron served as the SVP and chief scientist at 84.51˚, Kroger’s retail data science, insights, and media company. During his time at 84.51˚, he led a 100-member team of researchers, data scientists, and engineers, shaping the R&D vision and strategy that enhanced Kroger’s in-store and supply chain operations, as well as the performance of CPG partner products. Cron has also held senior data scientist roles at Citadel LLC, Weinrub Analytics, and MaxPoint.
