‘bunq collaborates with Qover to introduce travel insurance in seven markets’

Insurtech firm Qover has joined forces with bunq, the second largest neobank in Europe, to offer one-time activation travel insurance to bunq users in seven markets. This partnership brings a new level of convenience to bunq customers, with features such as a quick claims process and easy access to travel certificates integrated into the bunq app.

The collaboration between Qover and bunq, which set a new industry record with an incredibly swift six-week launch, aims to provide an exceptional user experience. Quentin Colmant, CEO and Co-Founder of Qover, emphasized the focus on catering to “Eva,” bunq’s model user, by not only delivering top-notch insurance coverage but also implementing advanced AI-driven customer support and a seamless claims process.

A key component of this alliance is the embedded insurance orchestration available on bunq’s Easy Bank Pro XL plan. Qover’s claims data dashboard plays a crucial role in simplifying the claims process for bunq users, as it analyzes common rejection clauses and facilitates smooth claims filing when necessary.

Ali Niknam, Founder and CEO of bunq, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We’re making travel insurance effortless together. It’s exactly the peace of mind we want our users to have, whether they spend, save, or travel with bunq.”

In addition to this collaboration, Qover has also teamed up with Yonder to offer comprehensive travel insurance to Yonder customers. This strategic move further solidifies Qover’s position in the travel insurance market, providing customers with a complete insurance solution for their travel needs.
