Stratasys Unveils SAF HighDef Printing Capabilities and H350 V1.5 3D Printer

Stratasys has recently introduced its latest innovation, the SAF HighDef Printing capabilities, alongside its new 3D printer, the H350 Version 1.5 (V1.5), with the goal of enhancing service and performance.

The SAF HighDef Printing feature enables high-definition printing with intricate resolution, empowering manufacturers to scale their 3D printing operations while producing more detailed parts. The thermal control feature of SAF allows for the creation of smooth and precise features like gears and mechanisms.

Stratasys foresees that the new capabilities will be particularly advantageous for industries such as aerospace, automotive, and healthcare. The inclusion of SAF HighDef Printing in a firmware update comes at no extra cost for Stratasys customers, making it compatible with both the H350 V1.5 and earlier H350 printers.

Adam Ellis, Corporate Applications Manager at Stratasys, expressed, “Bringing HighDef to our customers will help us expand and improve their capabilities and increase their adoption of 3D printing in manufacturing roles.”

The H350 V1.5 printer boasts enhanced sensors and remote service capabilities, simplifying its operation and maintenance compared to previous models. The printer will be shipped with the firmware update already installed.

Torben Lange, Vice President of SAF Research and Development at Stratasys, commented, “The new capabilities and the upgraded H350 align with the performance needs that our customers indicated to us, allowing them to further leverage additive manufacturing and SAF technology.”

Overall, the release of SAF HighDef Printing and the H350 V1.5 3D printer signifies Stratasys’ commitment to advancing the capabilities and applications of 3D printing technology in various manufacturing sectors.
