Expanding Election Law Practice: Rutan & Tucker Acquires Sutton Law Firm

Rutan & Tucker LLP has recently announced the acquisition of San Francisco-based Sutton Law Firm, a move that will strengthen the firm’s election law practice group. James R. Sutton, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in political and election law, has joined Rutan as a partner.

Expressing his enthusiasm about joining the firm, Sutton stated, “I am incredibly excited to be joining the team at Rutan. After running my own law firm for the past two decades, I am looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges that come with this move.”

This strategic move is expected to enhance Rutan’s capabilities in the field of election law and offer clients a broader range of expertise and resources. The addition of Sutton and his wealth of experience will further solidify Rutan & Tucker LLP’s position as a leading law firm in the industry.
