Hanoi’s NIC Offices: A Look Inside

Hanoi’s NIC Offices: A Look Inside

CBL Architect design studio was tasked with developing core values through innovative spatial solutions for the NIC offices in Hanoi. The design focused on symbolizing creativity and connectivity, with a unique design concept showcased in the elevator lobby.

In a post-COVID world, many companies and conglomerates have faced significant challenges. It has become apparent that those who have sustained have done so by embracing core values. Therefore, the development of internal core values is essential for the survival and growth of businesses.

The NIC offices are situated in the NIC Building in Hanoi, owned by the National Innovation Center of Vietnam. This center, under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, aims to foster innovation and support startups in the country.

The design team’s goal was to propose ideas that embody NIC’s essence of innovation and creativity while promoting a harmonious and dynamic environment. They aimed to create a core space that connects multiple areas, fostering unity and collaboration.

One standout feature of the design is the elevator lobby, which combines three symbolic elements: “Tree branches – Stone slabs – Open books.” This concept conveys a message about the importance of knowledge in fostering creative innovation and sustainable development.

Through thoughtful design and attention to detail, CBL Architect design studio has created a space that not only addresses logistical challenges but also embodies the core values of innovation and connectivity. The result is a workspace that fosters creativity, collaboration, and sustainability.
