Infant Formula Brands Recalled Due to Non-Compliance

Crecelac and Farmalac infant formula are currently undergoing a recall due to non-compliance with FDA regulations under section 21 CFR 106.110 New Infant formula registration. Despite the issue, there have been no reports of injuries or adverse reactions linked to the consumption of these products. The recalling company, Dairy Manufacturers Inc. based in Prosper, Texas, is taking immediate action.

These items were distributed in the United States without meeting the necessary infant formula regulations set by the FDA. The firm failed to submit the required premarket notification for these products, which means they have not been evaluated by the FDA for U.S. food safety and nutrition standards. It is crucial for parents and caregivers to be aware of this information.

The recalled infant formula products were sold in Texas and come in a 12.4-ounce cardboard and aluminum can packaging. Specifically, the products include Crecelac Infant 0-12 with UPC number 8 50042 40847 6 (expiration dates 08/2025 and 09/2025), Farmalac 0-12 with UPC number 8 50042 40841 4 (expiration dates 08/2025 and 09/2025), and Farmalac 0-12 Low lactose with UPC number 8 50042 40839 1 (expiration dates 08/2025 and 09/2025).

If you have purchased any of these recalled Crecelac and Farmalac Infant Formula products, it is advised not to feed them to your child. You can dispose of them securely in a trash can with a tight lid to prevent access by others, or return them to the store of purchase for a full refund. Stay informed and prioritize your child’s safety by following these guidelines.
