American Oncology Network, based in Fort Myers and a publicly traded network of community-based oncology practices, has appointed Bill Valle, a veteran health care executive, to its board of directors.
Valle brings with him 14 years of experience from his time at Fresenius Medical Care AG Management and Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Inc. Additionally, he served as president and CEO of strategic advisory services at Innovative Health Strategies. Valle has also held board positions at various healthcare companies including Sound Physicians, Interwell Health, and Vifor FMC Renal Pharma Ltd.
Dr. Stephen “Fred” Divers, AON’s chief medical officer and vice chairman, expressed his excitement about welcoming Valle to the board, emphasizing Valle’s wealth of experience and knowledge that will benefit AON’s future endeavors.
Valle will be joining other board members Todd Schonherz, James Stith, Bradley M. Fluegel, and Ravi Sarin in guiding AON towards its mission. Valle expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunity to work with a group of seasoned healthcare leaders and contribute his expertise to AON, a company that he believes is truly making a difference in the communities it serves.
Established in 2018, AON represents over 240 providers spread across 21 states and reported .28 billion in revenue over the past 12 months.
