‘New Partnership for QR Payments in China Unveiled’

Kaspi.kz, a leading company in Kazakhstan, has announced a new partnership with Alipay+ that allows their customers to pay using the Kaspi.kz Super App and QR code in China. This partnership aims to make it easier for Kazakhstanis traveling in China to make purchases without the need for cash or cards.

Through the Kaspi.kz Super App, customers can now pay for their purchases in Chinese stores, cafes, taxis, and over 80 million other points throughout China using a QR code. This innovative payment system simplifies transactions for Kazakhstanis in China, making their shopping experience more convenient.

Mikhail Lomtadze, CEO and Co-founder of Kaspi.kz, expressed his excitement about this new partnership, stating that many Kazakhstanis visit China for work, study, or vacation. The feedback from customers about the ease of payment in Kazakhstan prompted this collaboration with AliPay+, enabling seamless transactions for Kaspi.kz customers in China.

Venetia Lee, Greater China General Manager of Ant International, also shared her enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the goal of providing a seamless mobile payment experience for Kaspi.kz users in China. This collaboration will enhance the travel and shopping experience for customers while prioritizing innovative technology and service excellence.

To make a payment using the Kaspi.kz Super App, customers simply need to open the app, select the AliPay+ service, and have the seller scan their QR code or scan the seller’s QR code themselves.

Kaspi.kz is committed to improving people’s lives through innovative mobile products and services, operating a two-sided Super App model for consumers and merchants. Their mission is to connect users through relevant services and enable seamless transactions through their proprietary payments network. With a strong consumer and merchant base, Kaspi.kz continues to innovate, providing value to their users while maintaining profitability.
