“Phone 2a Now Available in the US, Partners with Perplexity AI”

Nothing’s latest smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2a, has officially launched and is now available for purchase in the United States. Priced at 9, this device offers a memory configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Nothing Phone 2a boasts impressive specs, including a custom MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, a dual 50MP camera array with a 32MP front camera using the same sensor as the Phone 2. It also features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

In addition to its impressive features, Nothing has announced a partnership in the AI space with Perplexity. This AI-powered engine offers users a smarter way to access online search tasks. Buyers who purchase the Nothing Phone 2a through nothing.tech until March 19 can receive up to a year of Perplexity Pro for free.

Aravind Srinivas, the Co-Founder, and CEO of Perplexity, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Perplexity and Nothing are united in a shared commitment to user-centricity, delivering a great product, and the belief that finding information should be simple and efficient.
