‘Raphael Bres makes a comeback at Tradeshift, ready to utilize AI in fintech’

Tradeshift, a leading B2B e-commerce and fintech platform, is welcoming back Raphael Bres to lead the company’s finance function with the power of artificial intelligence (AI). Bres will focus on creating innovative AI and automation solutions for Tradeshift’s invoicing and accounts payable offerings, while also strengthening the company’s position in the B2B marketplaces and embedded finance sector.

Raphael’s return comes at a time of significant organizational changes for Tradeshift, including new investments and partnerships with major entities such as HSBC. Bres’ reappointment as Chief Product & Technology Officer follows his successful tenure at Spiff, a sales commission software company acquired by Salesforce.

Speaking about his return, Bres expressed his excitement to continue the transformative journey with Tradeshift, highlighting the impact of the B2B marketplace and embedded finance partnership with HSBC. With over 25 years of experience in Enterprise Financial Applications and B2B SaaS Solutions at companies like Oracle and Microsoft, Bres is poised to broaden Tradeshift’s reach to a wider range of businesses and capitalize on AI advancements to enhance customer value.

Tradeshift CEO James Stirk praised Raphael’s leadership and the company’s growth trajectory, emphasizing the strategic importance of Bres’ expertise in advancing Tradeshift’s mission. The company has also recently bolstered its executive team with the appointments of key professionals to drive innovation and growth in various strategic areas.
