CIMB Bank Philippines Launches Red Hot Promo with Up to 15% Interest Rate
This summer, CIMB Bank Philippines, the country’s leading digital-only commercial bank, is heating things up with its latest offer. From May 1 to June 30, 2024, customers can earn up to 15% per annum interest with CIMB’s Red Hot Promo.
Existing UpSave and GSave account holders as of March 31, 2024, are eligible to earn the high interest rate for the month of May. Meanwhile, accounts opened by April 30, 2024, can participate in the promo for the month of June. Qualified accounts will automatically earn 4% interest by maintaining their balance and can earn additional interest by following these steps:
- Earn +2% interest by increasing your total average daily balance (ADB) by at least ₱5,000 compared to the previous month’s ADB
- Earn +2% interest by spending at least ₱5,000 using your Virtual Debit Card
- Earn +3% interest by spending at least ₱50,000 using your Virtual Debit Card
- Earn +4% interest by increasing your Total ADB by at least ₱50,000 compared to the previous month’s ADB
All additional interest rates apply to a total ADB of up to ₱200,000 and are inclusive of other promotions. Terms and conditions apply.
For those without a CIMB account, opening one is quick and easy. It only takes 10 minutes to open an UpSave account via the CIMB mobile app or a GSave account via the GCash app. Filipino citizens aged 18 and above only need one valid ID to apply.
In addition to earning high interest rates, CIMB account holders can enjoy free life insurance coverage by maintaining an ADB of at least ₱5,000. They can also activate their CIMB Virtual Debit Card quickly and use it for online transactions. Money transfers via InstaPay are also free.
