Sustainable Mobility Strategy for Future Generations

The Volkswagen (VW) Group is made up of ten brands from five European countries including Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, ŠKODA, SEAT, CUPRA, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche, and Ducati.

After embracing the updated strategy “New Auto – Mobility for generations to come” in 2021, Volkswagen has recently released its 2023 Sustainability Report. The focus of the company is aimed towards 2030, with 2023 prioritizing financial stability and planning, products, regions like China and North America, software, technologies, battery and charging infrastructure, mobility solutions, sustainability, and capital markets.

According to Daniela Cavallo, the Chairwoman of the General and Group Works Council of Volkswagen AG, sustainability is a top priority for the company. Clear goals and plans have been set in place to ensure sustainable practices are followed with clear responsibilities assigned to achieve them.
