Vinny Marino Selected to Program for Vermont Radio Operations

Pamal Broadcasting has appointed Vinny Marino as the Operations Manager and Program Director for its Catamount cluster in Vermont. Marino, who previously held the same roles at WXKC in Erie, PA, has also worked in programming in New York City and Chicago.

In his new position, Marino will be responsible for programming Pamal’s heritage Adult Contemporary station WJJR and the recently launched Classic Hits station WSYB, as well as overseeing cluster operations. He will report directly to Pamal’s Corporate VP of Programming and Operations, Kevin Callahan.

Pamal COO Chuck Benfer expressed his enthusiasm for Marino’s addition to the team, stating, “We’re fortunate to have the opportunity to add Vinny to our programming team. Vinny brings a wealth of programming and operational experience to our cluster in Rutland. I am confident that the community in Rutland will quickly embrace him.”

Callahan also shared his excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Vinny to the Catamount Team. His expertise will help elevate our Vermont stations to new heights.”

Marino himself commented on his new role, saying, “I am thrilled to be part of a company that values live and local radio. Rutland is a wonderful area to live, work, and grow professionally.”
